Dear Ski friends

It was nice to meet so many of you during my CMH trip around the Nordic countries in October. It was also really nice to see so many new faces, ready to come skiing with us in the near future.

Claude – area manager at CMH Gothics and a very experienced Mountain guide - visited the Nordic countries for the first time and accompanied me during the CMH presentation tour. He was very impressed by our nature as well as with all the people we met. Now he wants everyone to come Heli-skiing at the Gothics, one of our 12 Heliski areas. We will do our best to meet his desire, but maybe needless to say, the nature, the mountains and the CMH people are equally great in all areas.

Skiing in British Columbia has, in recent years, become an important alternative for skiers from all over the world and it is a fantastic part of Canada to explore. Moving in towards the Rocky Mountains, you will find unique mountain wilderness, where the powder is waiting for us to offer the world’s greatest skiing. More specifically, I am talking about the Columbia Mountains, which is running parallel with the Rockies. The founder of CMH, Hans Gmoser, knew exactly what he was looking for when he, in the early 1960s, pick-pointed the best areas for back country skiing and established a company that he, at that time, did not have a clue would become the leader in the world of Heli-skiing.

• Galena – Inauguration in December of our newly rebuilt lodge in Galena
• Combiweek - 3-5 days Heli-skiing + flex amount of days skiing in Revelstoke Ski resort

Heli-Ski Season 2011

ADVANCE NOTICE! Space preference for the 2011 season: send us an e-mail with what you may be looking for – no later than DECEMBER 1! We will get back to you after New Year, whereupon you can decide to confirm the space or not. If you plan to be 6+ skiers, we definitely recommend you to block spaces in order to hopefully get the preferred spaces you are looking for. The space request is not binding at this point. For those of you who have already sent your request, it is not necessary to do so again.

News

SMALL SHIP PROGRAM: Two Bell 407 Helicopters for up to 30 guests in Adamants - January & March. Maximum flexibility with 5 ski-guests per group. Small Ship program is also available in CMH Kootenay with one Bell 407 Helicopter for 15 guests divided in 3 groups of 5 skiers.
